On behalf of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton Hedge Fund Conference, we are delighted to announce the first annual Wharton Hedge Fund Conference on 20 February 2009 at Jon M. Huntsman Hall in Philadelphia.
The Wharton Hedge Fund Conference is the first major conference hosted by a university to focus exclusively on the hedge fund industry. As the industry faces new challenges and uncertainties in the rapidly evolving global environment, the need for a standalone event at the country’s premier business school has become increasingly pronounced. The WHFC team is comprised of PhD, MBA, and undergraduate students with interest and experience in the hedge fund industry. The conference will address the most pertinent and timely topics and will provide an excellent opportunity for top professionals, academics, and students to come together, share ideas, and contemplate future trends.
